Assembly District 65 is made up of diverse neighborhoods, including the Lower East Side, Two Bridges, Chinatown, Little Italy, Grand Street, the Seaport, and the Financial District. Each community has its own character, yet together they reflect a shared history shaped by residents from all walks of life and across socioeconomic backgrounds. As a longtime working-class stronghold in Manhattan, our district now faces serious challenges, including disappearing neighborhood character, while many residents feel their voices are not being heard and that policies are not working for them. I am running to advocate for the people who live here and to protect the future of our community.
